WHS undertaking accepted from Grahams Quarry Cedar Point Pty Ltd

The Resources Regulator in NSW has accepted a WHS undertaking from Grahams Quarry Cedar Point Pty Ltd following an investigation into an incident on 2 March 2024, at Edenville, NSW. 

The incident occurred when a worker was struck by a forklift attachment. The forklift’s jib, tynes and load guard detached when it was being used to lift a damaged truck cabin. A worker who was standing in front of the forklift at the time of the incident suffered injuries. 

The Regulator has accepted a WHS undertaking from Grahams Quarry Cedar Point Pty Limited that includes a number of obligations on the operator. 

An Investigation information release regarding the incident was published by the Regulator in March 2024.
