Revised requirements for Quarry Manager - tier 2 quarries practising certificate

Qualifications and emergency preparedness units of competence (PDF, 1.12 MB) that a person must have to be eligible to be granted a quarry manager practising certificate for tier-2 quarries have been updated.

The Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) qualifications have been updated with codes that will be published on the training.gov.au website. Existing qualifications have been retained so there are more qualifications for individuals to hold to be eligible.

There are now units of competence for emergency preparedness at an AQF 5 and 6 level, in addition to the existing AQF level 4 units, that enable a person to be eligible for the practising certificate.

The updated details have been published in the NSW Government Gazette (PDF, 1.12 MB). Contact us at mca@planning.nsw.gov.au or 4063 6461 for further information.
