Resources Regulator calls for presenters at MESS 2026

The Mechanical Engineering Safety Seminar (MESS) will return in 2026 for its 34th year, continuing its legacy as the premier safety event for mechanical engineers in the NSW mining industry.

Hosted by the Resources Regulator, the seminar will take place on 5-6 August 2026 at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, bringing together industry leaders, innovators, and practitioners to share knowledge and strengthen safety practices.

The Mechanical team is now calling for experienced and industry presenters to contribute to the program.

Presenters will have the opportunity to:

  • share expertise, insights, and lessons learned from the field
  • showcase innovations and practical solutions that improve safety outcomes
  • inspire peers and influence the future of mechanical engineering safety.

We encourage professionals with valuable experience to step forward and be part of shaping the conversation in 2026.

Submit your expression of interest and the Mechanical team will be in touch.
