Exploration in the House 2024 another successful showcase

The department proudly presented Exploration in the House – new data, new exploration futures at NSW Parliament House on Friday 10 May 2024.

The annual event, which drew 116 attendees capped off another successful NSW Minerals Week, and showcased the latest projects and new geoscience and geophysical data from the Geological Survey of NSW.

It included a keynote speech from Professor Dietmar Müller from the University of Sydney, who discussed the applications of artificial intelligence-driven data processing in the search for critical minerals.

The event made its return in 2024 to NSW Parliament House after the 2023 iteration was held at the Art Gallery of NSW.
