EESS 2025 agenda at a glance

The 33rd Electrical Engineering Safety Seminar (EESS) will be held on 12 and 13 November 2025 at the Shangri-La Sydney.

The 2-day seminar will focus on electrical safety and health issues in mines,  providing a platform for collective communication, discussion, and consultation among engineers and other key stakeholders.

Presentations will address a broad range of topics relevant to mining in NSW.  This will include incident investigations and key learnings, supervision and leadership development, Duty of Care – WHS compliance for Engineers and Statutory function holders and cutting-edge engineering projects, including proximity detection systems, common mode voltage management - and much more!
