The Resources Regulator has published an investigation report following a dangerous incident involving an explosion at a NSW mine last year.
An explosion occurred in the reclaim tunnel of a minerals mine after 2 workers completed an electrofusion welding task involving high-density polyethylene (HDPE) components at Cadia Valley Shared Surface Infrastructure on 22 July 2024.
The workers had left the tunnel before the explosion and nobody was injured as a result of it.
