The Resources Regulator’s 2026 mine safety high visibility campaign is set to start on Monday 22 June 2026.
The annual two-week campaign will focus on improving safety performance across both underground and surface mines.
During the campaign, inspectors will conduct announced and surprise inspections at mine sites across the state.
The Regulator is aiming to visit more than 130 mine sites across the fortnight ending on Friday 3 July 2026.
This campaign builds on the Regulator’s ongoing engagement with industry to prevent incidents and improve safety outcomes.
A report will be published on the Regulator’s website detailing outcomes and recommendations to industry at the conclusion of the campaign.
