Plant registration and licensing reform

What's this about?

NSW Resources, within the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, invites comments on proposed reforms to the plant registration and activity licensing regime under the Work Health and Safety (Mines and Petroleum Sites) Regulation 2022 (the Regulation).

The proposed reforms will replace certain plant and item registration and activity licensing requirements in the Regulation with the Australian and international standards and national accreditation schemes or performance standards.
