The new Strategy sets out a clear vision for NSW to be a leader in critical minerals and high-tech metals, generating economic prosperity through responsible exploration, mining, processing, recycling and advanced manufacturing.

Critical Minerals and High-Tech Metals Exploration Program

The Critical Minerals and High-Tech Metals Exploration Program will invest $2.5 million over the next two years to encourage exploration for critical minerals and high-tech metals. This will ensure NSW is prepared for a surging demand for critical minerals in the future global economy through a sustainable economic resource pipeline for the state.
