NSW Mine Rehabilitation Forum 2021

This free, one-day webinar on 8 September 2021 is an opportunity for both the Resources Regulator and industry to share experiences, lessons learnt and promote leading practice in mine rehabilitation.

The forum will cover the implementation of the new compliance and reporting reforms for mine rehabilitation and new regulations under the Mining Act 1992. Participants will hear about the rehabilitation reforms and discuss the Targeted Assessment Programs (TAPs) over the last two years, which have focussed on tailings management, soil and material management, as well as landform establishment.

Seeking Presenters

Expressions of interest are sought from industry and consultants who believe they can share their experience and learnings on mine rehabilitation, with a particular focus on rehabilitation risk assessment and implementation of risk controls in a relevant field.
