This year’s roadshow theme is “The role of leadership and due diligence in maintaining good safety standards”.The team will provide information on health and safety, the key topics this year will be:
- learning from recent incidents
- the Regulator's report for 2024/25 & focus for 2026
- developing and maintaining good controls – “What can good look like”
- a case study - The journey of mobile plant compliance
- bypassing safety devices
- maintenance of competence
- dust monitoring and introduction of TRG for roads and other vehicle operating areas.
The full day workshop will provide practical guidance, case studies, and regulatory updates designed to strengthen safety culture across the sector and also provide an opportunity for face-to-face engagement with the Regulator.
For any holders of a Quarry Manager's Practising Certificate the presentation hours will credit towards your maintenance of competence requirements.
