The Resources Regulator has published its July to September 2025 Quarterly business activities report, highlighting its key business activities over the quarter.
Activities include:
- release of 3 safety videos on the NSW Resources YouTube channel
- one causal investigation report concerning a polyurethane foam fire at a metalliferous underground mine
- one investigation report regarding a catastrophic truck tyre failure which injured 2 workers
- 2 investigation information releases concerning an electrician injured by an arcing flash, and allegations raised over incident reporting and termination following a near-miss incident
- 2 safety alerts regarding a worker who was seriously injured by ventilation double doors, and a worker who received an electric shock from an ethylene rubber insulated cable
- one safety bulletin concerning vehicle collisions in underground coal mines
- 5 fact sheets covering reportable events notifications, changes to maintenance of competence scheme for practicing certificates, maintenance testing of breathing apparatus, puddling operations agitator safety, and schedule of fees for licences, plant design and items of plant registration
- hosting the annual Mechanical Engineering Safety Seminar in Sydney, plus an additional 10 events throughout the state and online

- 13 editions of the Weekly Incident Summary
- 5 editions of Mine Safety News and,
