Mine Rehabilitation Forum: Newcastle and Dubbo agendas announced

Agendas have been issued for the Resources Regulator’s upcoming Mine Rehabilitation Forums, taking place in Newcastle and Dubbo this month. 

These forums offer an opportunity to hear directly from the Regulator, learn from industry leaders, and connect with peers across the sector. 

Newcastle 

Tuesday, 10 February 2026 – NEX, 309 King Street 

Presenters at this event include NSW Resources Deputy Secretary Georgina Beattie and Resources Regulator Executive Director Jamie Tripodi, as well as representatives from Umwelt, Thiess, the University of Newcastle. 

Dubbo

Thursday, 12 February 2026 – Dubbo RSL Club, 177-183 Brisbane Street

Presenters at this event include NSW Resources Deputy Secretary Georgina Beattie and Resources Regulator Executive Director Jamie Tripodi, as well as representatives from Yancoal, Umwelt, the University of Newcastle.   

Each event includes panel discussions, presentations and workshops.
