The 2011 NSW Petroleum and Geothermal Potential CD highlights details of 38 companies which are actively exploring for petroleum, coal seam methane and geothermal energy in NSW. The CD also features detailed descriptions of NSW's petroleum systems, coal seam methane development, and the potential for coal seam methane and geothermal energy. Maps of current exploration hot prospects, prospective ground and current titles are included.

The CD contains a complete catalogue of NSW petroleum, coal seam methane, and geothermal geoscientific material and web links to hard copy publications and on-line services. Free GIS data for current titles, boreholes, geology, base data, seismic lines and geophysical images as customised projects for ArcMap™ and ArcReader™ are included. The geology, geophysics and petroleum data for NSW can also be viewed in Google Earth™ from this CD.
